Tax Revenue Audits Budget Bonds Outstanding Tax Revenue Fire District Taxes Upon the proper certification to the assessor of the municipality in which the fire district is located, the assessor shall assess the amount of taxes to be raised in support of the fire district's budget in the same manner as all other municipal taxes. The collector or treasurer of the municipality shall then pay over to the treasurer or custodian of funds of the fire district the taxes assessed.
